The Apollo IE Is One Mean V12 Weapon
The next chapter in the Apollo brand is here and it's called the Apollo IE. It's got all the goods to make it a true hypercar.
The Apollo IE is looking to be the most bonkers car of the century. Featuring a 780 hp naturally aspirated Italian V12 and a full carbon fiber chassis, you know it's going to be a good recipe.
The IE stands for Intensa Emozione which quite literally means intense emotion. The company was resurrected after bankruptcy by Norman Choi who is now the CEO of Apollo. Back in 2016, they came to the Geneva Motorshow with the Arrow Concept. Now they’re here with their first limited production car called the Apollo IE.
It’s a balanced combination of old and new with a 780 hp V12 with a 9.000 rpm redline, no turbos, no hybrids. Just pure V12 noises with a Vmax of 335 km/h. Combined with the dark arts of aero this thing produces 1.350 kgs of downforce at 300 km/h and capable of pulling more than 2.0G lateral.
The car is aimed at providing you with the most intense emotion a car can deliver. Modern, yet nostalgically pure.
The car will be limited to 10 units with a base price of 2.300.000 €. It's a bit of a shame that it's not going to be produced in a higher number since it would be bonkers to see these just driving casually on the road.
