We Just Spied the Lamborghini Huracán Performante Spyder

Huracán Performante Spyder, wait what?

Lamborghini confused us all when they launched the Huracán Performante, suddenly that name was no longer an indication of a roofless Superleggera. Fear arose a hardcore Huracán couldn't be enjoyed with the full symphony of the V10 hitting your ears unhindered by metal. Unjustified fear as I just laid eyes on the Huracán Performante Spyder prototype here at the Green Hell.

Wearing the full camo-livery, the Lamborghini Huracán is undeniably a roofless Performante. Where previous the roofless Gallardo used that name, it is safe to assume both the Coupe and Spyder will be indentified by that label. One referring to their reworked hardware.

If Lamborghini's logic is predictable, this Huracán Performante Spyder will have the same specifications as the Coupé. Which translates into plenty of active aero, 640 hp but also a weight increase. Just how big remains to be seen, but with the V10 singing behind you, there's barely a soul on this planet that wouldn't forgive the Spyder for being a bit slower than its closed brother.
