Evora Sport 410: most powerful Lotus to date

Lotus has reworked their entire lineup and topping it of is the new Evora Sport 410. Set to debut in Geneva next week, it is sure to stand out with all its carbon parts.

The Evora Sport 410 takes the crown from the Evora 400 when it comes to being the most powerful Lotus to date and unsurprisingly it does it with 410 PS. Power coming from the further refined 3.5 liter V6 used in the Evora since its launch. Talking about launches; the Evora 400 was only launched last year and guess where the Evora Sport 410 will debut? Yup, in Geneva during the festive evening before the press swarms the halls.

Evora Sport 410

Following in line with the recently updated models, the Evora now adds the word 'Sport' it its name but there's more. More than a power increase and an extra word, the Evora Sport 410 has been subjected to the  iconic Lotus weight reduction program. One that reduced the weight by a relatively big amount of 70 kilograms, compared to the Evora 400 that is. The weight savings were achieved via the use of the revered material named carbon fiber, available in clear coating for the fetishist among us. Next to the exterior carbon parts, the seats are also made of this material.

Performance

Sliding through the air with 15% less air resistance, increased power and reduced weight, the Evora Sport 410 hits a hundred in 4.2 seconds. Due to reduced air resistance caused by a new aero-package ( made of carbon <3) it now maxes out at the magical 300-kilomters-an-hour-mark. When choosing the automatic transmission, the driver loses 20 kph on the Vmax, loses 1 tenth of second to a hundred and adds 12 kilograms to the car. We'll be rubbing against the carbon parts of the updated/new model in Geneva, so stay tuned to our social media channels and we'll tell you just how good it feels.
