Aston Martin Valkyrie Gets Track-Focused Option

The Aston Martin Valkyrie gets an extensive options list including a no-compromise track-focused bodywork option.

The Aston Martin Valkyrie, the birth child coming from Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing will receive the most extensive 'Q By Aston Martin' option list ever.

Q By Aston Martin is the brand's custom department. And a car such as the Valkyrie is certain to get their attention too. Q is developping a special pack called the AMR Track Performance. But to make it clear: this is not the Valkyrie AMR Pro.

The AMR Track Performance pack promises to cut down lap times of the standard car by 8%. The pack is a swap-out kit for your regular bodypanels. And thanks to this it comes even closer to Newey's aerodynamic dreams.

The AMR track pack replaces the front bumper with a new one to increase downforce substantially. Other parts of the pack contain a set of ultra lightweight titanium brakes, a more track focused suspension setup and a set of matte black magnesium wheels with carbon fiber covers to further reduce drag.

The pack can be fitted by specially trained Aston Martin mechanics and can be done in just a "couple of days". As this Track pack is not road legal you need to take it back off and fit the standard body back for road use.

The Valkyrie will be available in any Aston color ever available with another four unique colors. And on top of that 3 lightweight color options which only add 0,7 kg to the car instead of the regular 3 to 4 kg.

And the list for options goes on. 30 buyers have already visited Aston Martin to spec their car. The rest should follow throughout the year as the first deliveries are scheduled for the end of 2019. The Valkyrie AMR Pro introduces itself the year after.
