750 reasons to love the new Shelby

When you hear the word Shelby, there's no doubt you'll think about the many Cobras and Super Snakes come to your mind. Mustangs are now Shelby's main business bringing more power and better handling for your car.

Since the beginning of this year Shelby offered an upgrade for your 2015 Mustang GT, called the Shelby GT with new looks, 650 hp and upgraded handling of which we had the exclusive opportunity to get them on video while testing.

Now though Shelby has released a bigger, more powerful and more badass Mustang than ever before: the 2015 Shelby GT Super Snake.

The car is an even more upgraded version of the standard 5.0 Mustang with a Hellcat eating 750 horsepower. To cool this monster in the engine bay the Mustang has a new bigger hood with big cooling vents, a more open grille and an upgraded cooling pack. Of course this kind of power is thanks to a supercharges mounted on top of the cylinders which screams through a set of Borla exhausts. Of course to bring this bad boy to a halt it's fitted with 6 piston Willwood brakes at the front and optional 4 piston Willwoods at the rear.

The exterior really marks it aside from the "standard" Shelby GT, the front really screams 'get out of my way!!' with a new carbon splitter, aluminium grille and of course the infamous Super Snake hood. Further exterior mods are carbon mirror caps, carbon tail light panel, a carbon diffusor with accents matching the colour of the car and special designed 20" Super Snake wheels. You won't be mistaking this for anything less than a Super Snake since Shelby put badges on the front, rear and the inside where there is a CSM badge to ensure the installation is made by Shelby and if you really want to take it to the track you'll have the option of fitting it with race seats with a 5 point harness and a roll cage.

To keep the car's value up, Shelby will only make 300 of these each year so you're better giving them a call right now if you want one.The upgrade package starts at 49.999 $ for 650+ horsepower and an extra 5.000 $ will give you 750+ horsepower, eat that Hellcat.
