550 HP Supercharged V8 F-Pace SVR Unleashed

The F-Pace SVR is another reason why we love Jaguar. They always stuff the most bonkers engines in practically every car they have.

Jaguar just pulled the covers off of their first performance SUV. The F-Pace SVR is a force to be reckoned with. Especially with a heart that produces 44% more power than in the F-Pace S. That heart is developed by Jaguar's Special Vehicle Operations (SVO).

It’s a 5.0L supercharged V8 producing 550 hp and 680 Nm’s of torque propelling the F-Pace SVR to 100 kmh in 4.1 seconds and up to a top speed of 283 kmh.

To cope with more power and higher speeds the body has been redesigned with bigger air intakes in the front channeling more air towards that big meaty V8 and an exclusive SVR bonnet to extract the hot air out of the engine bay.

At the rear the new diffusor houses a big quad exhaust that features active valve control and it's 6.6 kg's lighter than the standard F-Pace system. To deliver all that power, the SVR gets an electronic active differential and an 8-speed quickshift gearbox to ensure none of that V8 performance is lost. And thanks to the Jaguar Land Rover partnership, the F-Pace features superb all-surface capabilities.

Inside the F-Pace SVR features supportive sports seats embossed with the SVR logo. In addition to that the SVR steering wheel features aluminium paddle shifters. And just like the regular F-Pace, the SVR version gets the same luxuries as you'd get on the normal F-Pace. 650 L of trunkspace, 4G WiFi and a 10-inch touch screen with a 12.3-inch instrument cluster.Starting at 85.000 € the F-Pace will be ready to order this summer.
