Recently refreshed, this E 53 Estate closes the gap between the high-performance AMG models and the regular E-Class. How does an entry level AMG behave in Mercedes’ balanced line-up? Is it either a big hit or a bad compromise? We drove this six cylinder Estate to find out.

The Germans have this kind of shuffle going on. Between Audi, BMW, and Mercedes each has their space in time to let their latest model shine. This time it’s the C-Class who gets to shine but it might steal the attention away from others for quite some time….

The boys at Affalterbach aren’t picky when it comes to tackling a car. (Almost) everything with a Mercedes-star at the front is dipped in the typical AMG-sauce. And trust us, from time to time weird creations appear. From a supercar-bullying A 45 S to the blue angular GLB 35. The newest one to the list is an SUV -but also a Coupé- with a mild hybrid and numbers to call it a “light-version”.

The BMW 4 Series is an important car in the BMW line-up. It’s the central piece in the BMW line-up. If you think of a BMW, you think of a sleek, sexy 3-door coupe. The latest 4-Series has surely made a statement so let’s find out if the recipe still holds up.
