Loyal readers will note that our man -Ward- already had the honor to try out the new Mercedes-AMG SL 63 4Matic+ and they are correct! He had the chance to blast around Nice in one of the most awaited cars of this year. But now -thank God- I had a go in it!

Only six years after the previous C-Class, its successor is here. The C-Class is one of Mercedes’ highest volume models indicating drastic consequences when lagging behind competitors. That was not the case, as the W205 received its facelift not more than two years ago. Just to absolutely take a head start on the closest rivals, Mercedes went all out on the new C-Class.

A little while ago, we had the chance to test the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 coupe and we were very happy with it, to say the least. Mercedes gave us the chance to try out the top-tier GLE and who are we to decline? There are worse ways to fill up a weekend!

So we got the opportunity to test out the Mercedes-AMG CLA 35 and it being the smallest out of the AMG range, we asked ourselves the question: is it fun enough on some nice roads but also comfortable enough for long distances?
