Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo: the 5 seater Panamera is here
I suddenly want a family....
It's been 5 long years since the concept was shown to the public, 5 years that made people think about how visually pleasing a Panamera could actually be. Since then the new generation arrived, one that made us fall in love. After which the brand still kept us waiting for the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo, untill now: it's been unveiled ahead of its Geneva debut.
Customers practically begged Porsche to put an additional seat into the Panamera for years. Well, that time has finally come but you do have to opt for the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo version to aquire that highly desired seat. That little seat emphasises the practical nature of this car, along with its biggest Panamera boot of 520 liters. Fold the 3 rear seats down and you get 1390 liters, enough to run a small logistics business.
In terms of size the Panamera Sport Turismo is also the highest around, as it measures 1428mm now. That 5mm difference helps fit all the practicality in there, as in terms of wheelbase, width and length, the car is identical to its 4-seater sibling. In terms of engines the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo adopts all but one engine from its sibling, the Turbo S E-Hybrid. All other engines are identical for this chassis variant.
Not all prices are here yet but we expect them to land relatively quickly, as the cars will be rolling off the production line this October.
