Jaguar testing the new family 4 cylinder in F-Type
Global sales strategies ask for all sorts of engine configurations nowadays. With Jaguar pushing itself more and more onto the market then ever ( with the help of TaTa's vast money reserves) we get all kind of configuration of the current models. Why? to increase sales.
The car I spotted testing at the Nordschleife clearly shows the tapped of air inlets, what is remarkable is the exhaust being the same as the V8 model. Perhaps the 6 cylinder exhaust can't cope with the extra pressure from the Turbos.
Power is expected to be around 280-300 horses and CO2 as low as 150 grams per kilometer.Would you buy an F-Type with only 4 cylinders?
