Aventador SV hitting the Ring in under 7 minutes
4 weeks ago I spend two days at the Ring playing a car paparazzo, at the end of the second day the new Aventador SV showed up on a closed circuit doing some serious laps. Before entering the track the car made its appearance on the public road, leaving the testing facility.As it drove by it was immediately clear what the testing team was up to, a GroPro camera and a GPS-tracker sticked onto it didn't leave much to speculate about. Roll cage and racing helmet for the driver? Yup, those as well.
The classic roundabout slowed the car down enough to take some pictures with the 45mm f1.8 lens, the prime lens did its magic hence giving me a huge smile. I wasn't the only one being happy that hour as shortly after loud applause arose from the track paddock and now we know why. The team managed to put down a serious laptime as the Aventador SV is only slightly slower then the current hypercar trio. Enjoy the video below, courtesy of Lamborghini.
