Abarth 124 pops up in Geneva

A welcome surprise from Abarth landed in the Geneva, in the form of the Abarth 124 that is.

The Abarth 124 wasn't a model that was expected to show up here in Geneva. Little testing was spied or little news for that matter. But it is here people, a welcome addition to the performance brand from Fiat.

170PS Abarth 124

The numbers don't lie, this is isn't something terribly fast but it is something potent enough to make you smile. The car had gotten the 'normal' Abarth overhaul, meaning reworked hardware and aesthetic.

The new hardware means a reworked suspension, more stopping power, new exhaust and best of all is the 1.4 liter engine we know from Abart. This time in a 170 PS trim, the 0-100 time has not yet been revealed but it should be around 6s.

Aesthetically the car features a new aggressive bodywork, Abarth logos all over the place and a sweet caliper/rim combo. We approve but feel free to judge it yourselves in the gallery fresh of the boat.
